Big concert news, Ticket Lodge Blog readers! In 2014, the iconic Roseland Ballroom in NYC will be shutting their doors forever. The person to send the Roseland off with a bang will be the one and only, Lady Gaga! She will perform the last shows ever in a very cozy and intimate setting.
The shows will take place March 29, 30, 21 and April 2.
The Roseland Ballroom was billed as "The World's Greatest Ballroom" and first opened their doors in 1919 on the corner of 51st Street and Broadway and later moved to its current West 52nd Street location between Broadway and Eighth Avenue. In the ballroom's 94 year history and huge array of perfomers have graced the stage, including Fred Astair, Glenn Miller, and Frank Sinatra, Rolling Stones, Madonna and Beyoncé.
Lady Gaga recently released her fourth studio album, ARTPOP, and includes the smash single, "Applause," which is a top-five hit on USA TODAY's Top 40 airplay charts. She was also seen last weekend as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live.
