Monty Python Hitting the Stage Again!

Exciting news for Monty Python fans!!  Though the original five surviving members have been laying low, Terry Jones announced to BBC that they will be reuniting for a brand spanking new stage show.  Jones said, "We're getting together and putting on a show – it's real.  "I'm quite excited about it. I hope it makes us a lot of money. I hope to be able to pay off my mortgage!"

The official press conference is set to take place on Thursday in London at The Playhouse Theatre.  Spamalot is running at this same theater.  Spamalot is the hit musical inspired by their film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail which was released in 1975.

Monty Python had their first taste of success in the late 60's with their hilarious show, Monty Python's Flying Circus.  SNL later developed a similar set up, doing sketch routines.  Afterwards, the comedy group reached the upper echelons of hilarity with a bunch of movies including Life of Brian, Holy Grail and The Meaning of Life.  After that, the group started going their own ways.  Graham Chapman dies in 1989, and after that, a reunion seemed unlikely....until now!!

Get ready for some comic geniuses, everyone!
