The gossip mills are running rampant. There are some pretty credible rumors going around that Adele is going to set up shop in Las Vegas. She could soon be following in the footsteps of Celine Dion, Elton John and Britney Spears.
The rumors hint that the hit-making singer is in early discussions for a two-year run in Vegas. It has been rumored that she has been chatting with Sir Elton John about the possible benefits of such a deal. It is possible that she could make in excess of $40 million.
One source (anonymous, of course) says, "Stacks of Las Vegas casinos are desperate to get Adele on billboards as a headliner in this town."
A permanent show case in Vegas could have huge implications in cementing Adele's success in the U.S. Adele would reap the benefits of having fans come to her rather than hauling all her equipment and things across country on a tour.
