Garth Brooks 2014 Tour and New Album

There are big things in the works in 2014 for Garth Brooks. The multi-platinum recording artist plans to release his first new album since 2001 and his "Scarecrow" album.  He also plans to go on a major international tour and have television special which will reportedly be directed by famed Director, Martin Scorsese.

As of this post, there are no dates for the album's release.

Before that happens though, Brooks will have another eight-sow run at the Encore Theater in Wynn Las Vegas.

There are some pretty credible rumors that his wife, fellow musician, Trisha Yearwood, will make a special appearance on the album.  The two have done many duets over the years.

Brooks told reporters this summer at Toby Keith's Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert, “I think what I like best is getting to play music. I haven’t got to play music in a hundred years. We've been joking, but it’s not a joke. … We cover 82 songs in Vegas in a show, but they’re all little snippets. I’m not sure I remember all the lyrics to our stuff, you know, ‘cause we haven’t done it in 100 years. She hasn't done a complete song in forever, too."

Stay tuned for all the latest Garth Brooks news!
