V6WW855AF4TR We are officially in the dog days of summer. Two things certainly go hand in hand with a hot summer night; an ice cold beer and a good concert. Below I'm laying out what I think are some top notch shows to take in this summer.
It's true that the list seems to be dominated by country music, but everyone likes a tune that they can sing along to. The Voice judge, Adam Levine, and his band Maroon 5 are currently headlining the Honda Civic Tour along with Kelly Clarkson and featuring Rozzi Crane. They are also completing their own tour, Overexposed.
Lady Antebellum is another perpetual summer favorite. If you want to go see the Grammy winners, you should probably go quick. Lead singer, Hillary Scott, has been pregnant for like ever.
Jason Aldean, Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett are all touring together for an exciting shows full of country goodness. They will also be playing Country Thunder together which are two shows that take place over 4 days in Arizona and Wisconsin. Jake Owen is an up and coming country star. He has opened for many bands previously, including Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Little Big Town, Sugarland, and Keith Urban. Now it's his turn to shine!
Little Miss Taylor Swift always brings in a crowd to her shows. She has a kind of Pop Country sound that is very appealing to all different musical tastes.
Willie Nelson is a country music icon as well as a singer-songwriter, as well as an author, poet, actor, and activist. And if you didn't know already, he is a huge activist for trying to get marijuana legalized.
