Jason Aldean, the country music superstar who has been entertaining audiences for years with his catchy tunes and good ol' boy charm, will be heading out on his 2023 "Highway Desparado" Tour across North America. Joining Aldean on this highly anticipated tour will be Mitchell Tenpenny, Corey Kent and Dee Jay Silver. The tour will officially kickoff on July 14th at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts and conclude on October 5th at the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater in Phoenix Arizona.
Born in Macon, Georgia in 1977, Jason Aldean grew up with a love for music. He learned to play guitar at a young age and started performing in his local area. In 1998, he moved to Nashville to pursue his dreams of becoming a country music singer.
His big break came in 2005 with the release of his debut album, "Jason Aldean". The album produced three hit singles, including "Hicktown", "Amarillo Sky", and "Why". His follow-up albums, "Relentless" and "Wide Open", also produced hit songs and earned him critical acclaim.
But it was his 2010 album, "My Kinda Party", that truly cemented his status as a country music superstar. The album featured the hit singles "Don't You Wanna Stay" with Kelly Clarkson, "Dirt Road Anthem", and the title track, "My Kinda Party". The album went on to become certified quadruple platinum and earned Aldean multiple awards, including the Country Music Association's Album of the Year.
Despite his success, Aldean has faced his fair share of challenges. In 2017, he was performing at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas when a gunman opened fire, killing 58 people and injuring hundreds more. Aldean and his band were able to escape unharmed, but the tragedy left a deep impact on him. In the wake of the shooting, Aldean became an advocate for gun control and spoke out about the need for change. He also returned to Las Vegas in 2019 to perform a tribute concert for the victims of the shooting.
In 2019, Aldean released his ninth studio album, "9", which includes hit singles such as "We Back" and "Got What I Got" which further solidified his status as one of the biggest names in country music. He followed this another two albums, Macon (2021) and Georgia (2022) but neither album lived up to expectations with singles "Trouble with a Heartbreak" and "That's What Tequila Does" failing to break into Billboard Hot 100 top 30.
Jason Aldean is a talented musician who has made a name for himself in the country music world. He's won countless awards, sold millions of albums, and has a legion of fans who love him.
