Bob Weir and Ratdog to tour in 2014

Good news, jam band fans!  For the first time since 2009, Bob Weir and Ratdog will come together for a full tour.  The two have performed a handfull of times throughout the last four years, but this time, it will be official.  The band will perform 23 shows throughout the country, kicking off in Philadelphia, PA for two nights in February, then will wrap up with an epic show at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA in April.

Joining Weir on tour will include original members Rob Wasserman (who parted ways with Ratdog in 2002) and Jay Lane along, loyal keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, guitarist Steve Kimock and bassist Robin Sylvester.

Weir alluded to this tour in September, when he announced he and his Further and former Grateful Dead bandmate, Phil Lesh, that they would be on hiatus in 2014.
