Currently, O.A.R. is hard at work on their eighth studio album after their live double disc CD and DVD was released, "Live on Red Rocks." The announcement of the Tailgate Tour,by way of a post of a video message on their YouTube page.
“We look forward to stepping out of the studio energized and inspired by a record's worth of new material to play shows on our Tailgate Tour,” exclaimed saxophonist Jerry DePizzo.
“We are excited to test out the new tunes and put a twist on the fan favorites.”
As part of the Tailgate Tour, radio and social media winners will get a chance to be a part of pre-show Tailgate Parties in select markets.
O.A.R is short for "Of a Revolution" and got their start back in 1996 in Rockville, Maryland. The band is made up of Marc Roberge on lead vocals, drummer Chris Culos, guitarist Rich On, bassist Benj Gershman, and saxophonist Jerry Depizzo. to date, the band has released seven studio albums and is an extremely popular live show band and are a fixture on the summer tour scene.
