About 5SOS

5 Seconds of Summer consists of four members, Luke Hemmings (vocals/guitar), Michael Clifford (vocals/guitar), Calum Hood (vocals/bass), and Ashton Irwin (vocals/drums). 5SOS gained popularity on YouTube and social media, performing covers of popular songs before releasing their own original music.

In 2014, 5SOS released their self-titled debut album, which debuted at number one in eleven countries. The album spawned several hit singles, including "She Looks So Perfect" and "Amnesia," which helped the band achieve global success. 5SOS went on to tour extensively, playing sold-out shows around the world and opening for major artists such as One Direction and The Chainsmokers.

Over the years, 5SOS has continued to evolve their sound, incorporating elements of pop, punk, and alternative rock into their music. Their sophomore album, "Sounds Good Feels Good," was released in 2015 and featured the hit single "She's Kinda Hot." The album addressed topics such as mental health and social media, and showcased the band's growth as both musicians and songwriters.

In 2018, 5SOS released their third album, "Youngblood," which marked a departure from their earlier pop punk sound and showcased a more mature, polished sound. The album's title track became a worldwide hit, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States. "Youngblood" received critical acclaim and earned the band their third consecutive number one album in Australia.

Today, 5SOS is recognized as one of the most successful Australian bands of all time, with numerous awards and accolades to their name. They continue to tour and release new music, and their dedicated fanbase, known as the 5SOS Fam, remains as passionate as ever.
