Girls, take note of this band, they very may could be the next One Direction or The Wanted. This up-and-coming band hails from Australia and their band name is 5 Seconds of Summer, or 5sos. The band is made up of Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings and Ashton Irwin who are all between the ages of 17-19.
5 Seconds of Summer started to gain notoriety when they were posting videos of themselves on YouTube and have reached over 5 million viewers. They received instant popularity in seconds when Louis Tomlinson of One Direction posted a link of their song, "Gotta Get Out."
The band recently announced that they will be headlining a short tour this spring, kicking off on April 11 in San Francisco, CA and will wrap up April 25 in Wallingford, CT. To add more fuel to their fire, 5sos will open for One Direction this summer for their North American tour, "Where We Are."
