While perennial favorites like Toby Keith, Alan Jackson and George Strait are not appearing this year, popular stars like Luke Bryan, Keith Urban and Hunter Hayes will be there. While the Rodeo is traditionally a country event, there will be a few pop acts as well like Robin Thicke and Selena Gomez. Point of interest, 3 judges from The Voice will be performing at the HR; Blake Shelton, Usher and Maroon 5.
The 2014 HR kicks off March 4th with Brad Paisley and concludes March 23rd with the Zac Brown Band. Other bands scheduled to play include the Eli Young Band, Reba McEntire, Jason Aldean, Chris Young, Florida Georgia Line, Jake Owen, The Band Perry, and Easton Corbin.
The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo is the world’s largest livestock show and rodeo. To date, the event raised more than $350 million to the youth of Texas since it's start in 1932.
