Breaking Record Boy Band News!

Believe it or not, One Direction is slowly taking over the world.  They're approaching Boy Band Royalty status.  As of this morning, the band made chart history, here in the states, with their album, "Midnight Memories," reaching the top spot on the Billboard 200.   Their first album, Up All Night, made huge waves, and their second album, "Take Me Home," did even better.  One Direction is the first band since The Monkees all the way back in 1967 to have their first three albums to take the top spot on Billboard.

In other 1D news, the adored boys were quite literally mobbed by crazed fans and paparaszzi on their way back to the U.S. on Tuesday in New York City.

The guys, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson, are in NYC to rehearse for their upcoming appearance as musical guest on Saturday Night Live, December 7th.  Paul Rudd, star of Anchorman, will be the host of the show.
