Drummer, Nathan Followill, told Rolling Stone magazine that the band had some big issues to overcome, but thankfully the group was able to collect themselves and sound better than ever. Followill said, "It was how we sounded when we started playing as a band, excited to plug in."
The group has been really active lately too, stopping by all the hot spots to highlight the Mechanical Bull. Recently they've played the Mechanical Bull tracks "Temple" on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and "Beautiful War," in addition to a cover of Robyn's "Dancing on My Own," on BBC1. Just recently, they also played at the famous House of Blues in Chicago in what frontman Caleb Followill called, "one of my favorite shows in a long time." Next up, the group can be seen at the Life Is Beautiful Festival in Las Vegas on October 26th.
