More sad news for young Pop Music fans this week.  17-year-old Austin Mahone was in the hospital this week for what was reported as a blood clot, inflammation and a high fever.

He was taken to the hospital Thursday morning with a 104-degree fever, and was later treated for a blood clot, extensive inflammation in his throat, and extreme dehydration, as told by his rep.  Perhaps he spent too much time and energy touring with Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran over the summer, though there is no official cause known yet.

He posted the saddest picture of himself at the hospital with an IV wearing a hospital gown with the caption, ""I've never felt so bad."

Due to his health scare, the singer postponed his MTV Artist to Watch Presents tour to 2014, in addition to to the postponement of his Miami and Orlando shows earlier this week.

According to his rep, Mahone "now on strict doctor's orders to stay on rest and will need to reschedule all dates on the tour."

Mahone's mother, Michele, made the following update on her son's behalf Thursday on Twitter, "Hey Mahomies its @michelemahone Austin is very ill. Unfortunately we are going to have to postpone the entire MTV Artist to Watch Tour."

"Austin is very upset about this & we want to say we are sorry to all the Mahomies & their parents who have made arrangements to come out," she said, adding, "We feel very bad but we have no choice but to POSTPONE the tour for now. Thank you for your prayers #PrayforAustin."

We'll keep you updated on new dates for Austin Mahone's tour!
