Arctic Monkeys to tour in December

Take note, Indie Rock fans!  The Arctic Monkeys will be on the road this upcoming December for a few headlining appearances and music fests.   They quick off their headlining shows in Vancouver on Dec. 1 and continue to Portland, Tempe, Tulsa and Columbia, MO.  The three holiday music fests include 91X Wrex the Halls in San Diego on Dec. 8, FM 102.1 Big Snow Show in Milwaukee on Dec. 13 and Buzz Stole Xmas in Kansas City on Dec. 14.

A couple days ago, the Arctic Monkeys paid a tribute to Lou Reed by rocking out to his song, Walk on the Wild Side.  The band performed the Velvet Underground hit song during their encore performance at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.

Currently, The Arctic Monkeys are on tour in Britain in support of their most recent album, AM, which hit the top of the Billboard charts in September and earned them their third Mercury nomination in the UK.
