The line up is pretty spectacular and long. There is something for everyone. There are many different stages that focus specifically on hip-hop / electronica, indie rock, punk / metal, and comedy.The main headliners include Slayer, M.I.A., MGMT, Jurassic 5, Snoop Dogg (Snoop Lion), Descendants, Ice-T. One step down from the headliners will bring you The Dismemberment Plan, FLAG, Simian Mobile Disco, Lupe Fiasco, and The Polyphonic Spree, But really, that is just scratching the surface.
In addition to this year's musical performers, there will also be an expanded comedy and action sports experience.
FFF got its start back in 2006, the festival and highlights a number of emerging talent in addition to allowing rarely seen or anticipated reunion performances to go on. Being in Austin is a huge benefit to the fest as Austin is known as the Live Music Capital of the World. Something that FFF is known for is finding fresh, new artists that eventually wind up in the mainstream music and festival arenas.
Another thing that Fun Fun Fun Fest is being known for having everything from a mechanical bull to a live wrestling ring with Sexy Sax Man on site. F3F highlights everything that is great about Austin, from art to foodcarts to great music. This will be a great festival!
