Dropkick Murphys Announces 2018 St. Patrick’s Day Tour Dates

A fixture for St. Patrick’s Day and all things Boston, Dropkick Murphys dropped the news that once again announced the dates for their St. Patrick’s Day 2018 tour.  The new tour will kick off for the first of 18 shows on Feb. 24 in Uncasville, CT and wrap up March 15-18 in Boston, MA.  They will also travel to Albany, Houston, Nashville, Atlanta and Washington D.C.  Special guests Agnostic Front and Bim Skala Bim will join them on tour this year.  Last year’s tour included The Interrupters and Blood or Whiskey.

Dropkick Murphys will continue to support of their latest album ’11 Short Stories of Pain & Glory.’  It is their ninth studio album and was released about a year ago on Jan. 6, 2017 via their label, Born & Bred label.  Besides their St. Patrick’s Day Tour, Dropkick Murphys also toured with Rancid for their ‘From Boston to Berkeley Tour.’  In 2016, they celebrated 20 years of being a band with their ’20 Year Anniversary St. Patrick’s Day Tour’ with special guests Tigers Army and Darkbuster.  Dropkick Murphys went on tour in 2015 with The Mahones and Blood or Whiskey for their Celtic Punk Invasion Tour.
