Styx Announces 2018 Tour with REO Speedwagon and Don Felder

It’s been a big week for 70’s rock bands announcing 2018 tours.  First it was Foreigner and now veteran rockers Styx announced a big new tour with REO Speedwagon  and Don Felder, formerly of The Eagles (who also recently announced a tour).  This tour will kick off for the first of 17 shows on March 13 in Duluth, IA and will wrap up April 15 in North Charleston, SC.  They will also travel to Grand Rapids, Charlottesville, Greenville and North Little Rock.  The trio already spent most of 2017 touring for their ‘Unite We Rock Tour.’

In 2015, Styx had a huge tour with Def Leppard and Tesla stopping in tons of outdoor arenas.   In 2014, Styx toured with Foreigner, their first time since 2010.  In total, Styx have released 15 studio albums, their last album, ‘Big Band Theory’ was released in 2005. Styx is best known for the hit songs “Lady”, “Come Sail Away”, “Babe”, “The Best of Times”, “Too Much Time on My Hands” and “Mr. Roboto”.  Styx has had 4 consecutive albums certified multi-platinum by the RIAA as well as 16 top 40 singles in the US, 8 of which hit the top 10.
