Stone Sour Announces 2018 Tour with Halestorm

Hard rock front man, Corey Taylor is not one to slow down for anything.  While his first big band, Slipknot is quiet for the moment, he’s taking his other hit bad on the road.  Stone Sour just dropped the news that they will be heading out on the road in 2018 in support on their newest album, ‘Hydrograd.’  This will be a co-headlining tour with Halestorm and will kick off Jan. 27 in Abbotsford, BC and will wrap up Feb. 11 in Rochester, NY.  Special guests The Dead Deads will join them.  When this tour concludes, Stone Sour will journey on to Grand Rapids, Milwaukee, and Indianapolis with special guests Red Sun Rising and The Dead Deads.

Stone Sour released their latest album, ‘Hydrograd’ earlier this summer on June 30 via Roadrunner Records.  This is the band’s sixth studio album and peaked at the #8 spot on the Billboard 200.  Their previous albums, were two EPs released between 2014-16, ‘Straight Outta Burbank…’ and ‘Meanwhile in Burbank…’  Stone Sour earned two Grammy Award nominations  for Best Metal Performance for the singles ‘Get Inside’ in 2003 and ‘Inhale’ in 2004.  In 2006, they had another Grammy nomination  for Best Metal Performance for the single ’30/30-150.’
