Robert Plant Announces 2014 Tour in North America

It has just been announced that one of the legends of classic rock, Robert Plant formerly of Led Zepplin, will be heading out on a North American tour this fall.  This tour is in support of his newest, soon-to-be-released album, “lullaby and ….The Ceaseless Roar.”  The album is set to be release on Sept. 9.  The tour will kick off Sept, 25 in Port Chester, NY and will wrap up Oct. 7 in Los Angeles, CA.  Other stops include Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago and Denver.  There will be two shows in Brooklyn.  This tour is also a celebration of 50 years with his label, Nonesuch.  It’s possible that more dates will be added to the North American line up.  There are a slew of European tour dates that Plant is also playing.

Plant said of his newest album, ‘lullaby and…The Ceaseless Roar’ is “really a celebratory record, powerful, gritty, African, Trance meets Zep” and that, with the Sensational Space Shifters, he’s now “able to express my feelings through melody, power and trance; together in a kaleidoscope of sound, color, and friendship.”
