Sofi Tukker Announces 2019 World Tour

EDM powerhouse Sofi Tukker dropped the news of a new world tour in 2019 to celebrate their debut album ‘Treehouse.’  The North American leg of the duo’s ‘R.I.P. Shame World Tour’ kicks off Oct. 2 in Calgary, AB and wrapping up Oct. 23 in Washington D.C.  They’ll also head to Seattle, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, Vancouver and more.  Special guests on tour will be Haiku Hands and LP Giobbi.  After the North American leg, they’ll head to Europe for another extensive set of performances.  Before the tour gets underway, fans can also check them out at the Osheaga Festival in Montreal, QB.

Sofi Tukker released their debut studio album, ‘Treehouse’ in April of 2018 via Ultra Records, LLC.  The album climbed to the #5 spot on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic chart and includes guest appearances by other EDM groups like NERVO, The Knocks, Alisa Ueno and Charlie Barker.  Last year, they also initially supported the album with their ‘Treehouse World Tour’ across North America and Europe.  The duo is made up of Tucker Halpern and Sophie Hawley (get it? Sofi Tukker??) both from New York City when they got together in 2014.
