It was just announced that Jason Mraz
will be hitting the road late this summer in support of his latest album, “YES!” which is going to be released on July 15th. The newest album incorporates more acoustic sounds and an intimate sort of feeling. The album will also feature the all girl band, Raining Jane, who will also be joining Mraz on the tour. The tour will kick off Aug. 21 in San Diego, CA and will wrap up Sept. 7 in Austin, TX. Other cities to be visited include L.A, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. After Mraz wraps up the North American leg of this tour, he will continue on to Europe, Asia, Australia and will finish up in South America in 2015.
Mraz is a very musical fellow. Not only is he a talented singer, guitar and piano player, but he also plays the mandola, mandolin, banjo and ukulele at this shows. His genre of music runs the gamut from surf rock to pop rock to alt. rock and even some reggae and soul. His most popular song to date is “I’m Yours” which reached the top spot on the AAA radio charts. Jason got his start back in 2002 with his album “Waiting For My Rocket to Come.” Then came “Mr. A-Z” in 2005, “We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things” in 2008 and “Love is a Four Letter Word” in 2012.
