Banks Announces New Album and New Tour for 2019

Singer-Songwriter Banks is ready to make 2019 her year!  For the first time in nearly two years, she’ll release new music and support it with a huge new tour.  The new album is titled “III”and the first of 23 cities she’ll visit will be Sept. 3 in Toronto, ON and will wrap up Oct. 19 in Miami Beach, FL.  She’ll also hit up Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New Orleans.  She’ll also travel to Montreal and Vancouver in Canada.  Special guest on tour will Kevin Garrett.  Fans can also check her out at her appearances at the Life is Beautiful Festival and the Austin City Limits Festival.

BANKS plans release her newest album, ‘III’ on July 12, 2019 via Harvest Records. Not surprising, it is her third studio album.  Her 2016 album, ‘The Altar’ climbed to #17 on the Billboard 200 and follow’s up her 2014 album, ‘Goddess.’  She supported that album with her ‘Goddess Tour’ which brought her across the U.S. and Canada.  In 2015, she supported The Weeknd’s ‘The Madness Tour’ with Travis Scott.

She said of her new album ‘III’

“It documents a major growth spurt. Of self-acceptance, letting go, forgiveness, and deep love. It has been painful to realize that life is not black and white. Romanticism leads to fierce reality checks, which leads to wisdom, which leads to deeper empathy which leads to greater love. This album documents the cycle.”
