Celtic Thunder 2014 Tour Dates

Just this weekend, Celtic Thunder announced that they will be tacking more days on to their “Christmas Symphony” tour.  Added to their tour will be stops in Buffalo, Grand Prairie and Robinsonville.  The Christmas Symphony tour will kick off Nov. 15 in Jacksonville, FL and will wrap up Dec. 9 in Pittsburgh, PA.  Other cities to be visited include Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis and Mashantucket.  Of special note, this will be the first time Celtic Thunder has ever included a full symphony orchestra at each show.  They will be singing songs from their 2013 album, “Christmas Voices.”

As noted in the band name, the group hales from Ireland and is made up by Neil Byrn, Emmet Cahill, Colm Keegan, Keith Harkin, Emmett O’Hanlon and Ryan Kelly.  The group largely focuses on adult contemporary, but also includes folk, world music, Broadway, soft rock and classical crossover.  Celtic Thunder has twelve studio albums under their belts since getting their start in 2008.  Their latest album was released in 2014, titled “Islands.”  After their Christmas tour, Celtic Thunder will be embarking on another cross country tour in 2015 named the “Best of Celtic Thunder” tour.   Dates have not been announced for that tour yet.
