ID 58243171 © Michael Albright | Dreamstime.comIt’s been another crazy busy year for Trey Anastasio, but the year ain’t over yet!  The Phish guitarist just announced another solo acoustic tour later this fall.  This is only a short tour and the first of 9 shows will kick off Oct. 16 in Dayton, OH and will wrap up Oct. 30 after a pair of shows in New York City.  He will also stop in Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Ann Arbor, Indianapolis and Nashville. Previously in 2019, he toured with his newest project Ghosts of the Forest comprised of Jon Fishman, Jennifer Hartswick, Celisse Henderson, Tony Markellis and Ray Paczkowski and a handful of acoustic solo shows as well as a lengthy summer tour with Phish  Fans can also check him out at the Lockn’ Festival with other jam band greats like Bob Weir.
Trey Anastasio’s latest solo album, ‘Paper Wheels’ was released in October of 2015 via Rubber Jungle Records.  The album climbed to #16 on the Billboard Independent album chart.  Point of interest about ‘Paper Wheels,’ it was recorded in less than a week at his Vermont-based studio.  Wow!  Also in 2015, he toured with The Grateful Dead’s final five ‘Fare Thee Well’ 50th anniversary shows in Santa Clara.  In 2013, he earned a nomination for Best Original Score at the Tony Awards for his work on the hit Broadway musical ‘Hands on a Hardbody.’
