Young the Giant Plans Home of the Strange Tour
I am a huge fan of Young the Giant. They are definitely one of my most fav current indie rock bands. Good news for me, Young the Giant just announced a big 26-date North American tour. This tour will be in support of their newest album, “Home of the Strange” and will kick off on Sept. 6 in Cleveland, OH and will wrap up Oct. 27 in Vancouver, BC. Some of the other stops along the way include Washington D.C., Philadelphia, NYC, Detroit, L.A., Montreal and Toronto. Ra Ra Riot will be joining them on tour. Prior to the tour, fans can check out YTG at a few summer festivals including 101WKQX PIQNIQ and Austin City Limits.
Young the Giant’s newest album is also their third, “Home of the Strange” and will be released later this summer on Aug. 12 via Fueled by Ramen. Their last album, ‘Mind over Matter” was released in 2014 and peaked at the #7 spot on the Billboard 200 and included the hits “It’s About Time” and “Crystallized.” They spent a good portion of 2015 promoting that album by touring.
