Sia Plans First Tour in 5 Years: Nostalgic for the Present Tour
This is not a drill! The immensely talented but immensely private, Sia has announced that she will be hitting the road for a new tour. The tour is dubbed the “Nostalgic for the Present” tour and will kick off on Sept. 29 in Seattle, WA and will wrap up Nov. 6 in Austin, TX. This is Sia’s first ever arena tour and full scale tour in over five years. Joining her on tour will be special guests Miguel and AlunaGeorge. In total, Sia will visit 22 cities. Prior to the tour, Sia will get her feet wet with a couple festival appearances at the Boston Calling Music Fest and the Seriesfest.
Sia’s seventh studio album, “This is Acting” was released in January of 2016 . Her previous album, “1000 Forms of Fear” was released in 2014 and includes her hit “Chandelier .” Sia has won a ton of awards throughout her career including MTV Music Awards and ARIA Awards. Sia has been around since 2000 and hales from Australia.
