My Morning Jackets Expands World Tour to Include U.S. Leg
has been spectacularly excellent over the years. This week, the alt. rock band released their newest studio album, The Waterfall, and announced a U.S. leg to their massive (massive!) world tour. The U.S. dates have their tour kicking off in Sept. 30 in Portland, OR and wrapping up Oct. 24 in Grand Prairie, TX. Some of the other cities to be visited include Seattle, Las Vegas, San Fran and Austin. Joining the on tour will be Strands of Oak, Dr. Dog and Fruit Bats for various different shows. Prior to the U.S. leg, fans can check them out across the pond in Europe throughout September. They are currently about to start a spring/summer tour as well as a heavy presence in the festival circuit again. These are some busy dudes!
