Alt-J Plans Extensive’Relaxer’ Summer Tour
I think it goes without saying that Alt-J has had a pretty epic past couple years. Now the indie rock band from England have announced a huge tour in support of their latest album, “Relaxer.” Their tour officially kicks off in Europe, then will head state side for some festival appearances including Panorama and Lollapalooza, then kick off their headlining tour Aug. 1 in Cleveland, OH and wrapping up Nov. 17 in Houston, TX. Other stops along the way include Seattle, Nashville, Atlanta, Miami and Dallas. Alt-J will also head North to Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Toronto in Canada.
Alt-J will release their newest album, “Relaxer” on June 2, 2017. This is the group’s third studio album and includes the singles “In Cold Blood” and “3WW.” Their last album, “This is All Yours” was released in 2014 and peaked the top spot in the UK and at the #4 spot on the US Billboard 200 chart. Their first album, “An Awesome Wave” won the 2013 Mercury Prize and was certified Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry.
