Rufus Wainwright Announces 2018 All These Poses Anniversary Tour

Twenty years after his debut album, Grammy nominated Rufus Wainwright announced a new tour in celebration of that album.  The tour is dubbed the ‘All These Poses Anniversary Tour’ and will kick off Nov. 9 in Los Angeles, CA and will wrap Dec. 12 in Atlanta, GA.  He will also stop in San Francisco, Toronto, NYC and Boulder.  Before the tour kicks off, Wainwright will be performing along the West Coast in places like Napa, Vancouver and Solana Beach.

Rufus Wainwright released his self-titled debut album in May of 1998 via Dreamworks Records and peaked at the #24 spot on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart.  His last album, “Take All My Loves: 9 Shakespeare Sonnets” was released in 2016 and includes guest appearances by Carrie Fisher, William Shatner and his sister Martha Wainwright.  It was his ninth studio album. In 2008, he was nominated for a BRIT Award for Best International Male Artist and a year later he had a Grammy nomination for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. In June 2007, Wainwright joined the multi-artist True Colors Tour, which was hosted by comedian Margaret Cho and headlined by Cyndi Lauper, the tour also boasted amazing acts like Debbie Harry, The Gossip, the Indigo Girls, The Dresden Dolls, The MisShapes, and Erasure. Profits went to the Human Rights Campaign.
