Tom Petty and MudCrutch Plan New Spring 2016 Tour
Tom Petty is an epic story teller. He doesn’t tour a ton now; not like when he got his start back in early 70’s with his band Mudcrutch. Thankfully, the classic rockers have released a second studio album and a new tour! Woot! Tom Petty and Mudcrutch will kicked off their tour on March 26 and will wrap up June 28 in Santa Ana, CA. Some of the other stops along the way include Nashville, Atlanta, Washington D.C., NYC and L.A. Fans can also check out the southern rock band at Summer Camp Festival and at the Bunbury Music Festival.
Mudcrutch plans to release their newest album, “2” on May 20th of this year via Reprise Records. Mudcrutch is comprised on Tom Petty, Tom Leadon, Jim Lenehan, Randall Marsh and Mike Campbell. The band was last together in 2008 when they released their self-titled album which peaked at #8 on the Billboard 200.
