The Foo Fighters Announce 2020 25th Anniversary Tour

::Updated with tour dates::

In case you all didn’t know, I’m marginally obsessed with Dave Grohl.  I think he’s amazing and his career has been amazing. His band the Foo Fighters announced a special spring tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the band’s debut North American tour.  25 years!  The first of 10 shows will kick off April 12 in Phoenix, AZ and continue on through the original 1995 tour including Oklahoma City, Knoxville, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Albuquerque, Wichita, Green Bay, Cincinnati and wrapping up in Hamilton, ON on May 20.  They will be making a bunch of festival appearances as well including New Orleans Jazz and Heritage, Something in the Water and Boston Calling.

The Foo Fighters released their latest album, “Concrete and Gold” in September of 2017 via RCA Records.  It is their ninth studio album and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and topped the charts in a career-best 13 countries.  They supported the album with their “Concrete and Gold Tour” the same year which brought them into 2018 and visited Europe, Asia, North America, Australia and South America.  In 2015, they dropped their fourth EP, “Saint Cecilia” and supported it with a ginormous North American tour with special guests Royal Blood.
