Kid Rock Announces First Kiss Tour

Kid Rock is particularly a fixture in the summer tour scene.   This summer is obviously no different.  Kid Rock has big plans for a lengthy summer tour and will include Foreigner as his opening act.  This tour will be in support of Rock’s newest album, “First Kiss” which is set to be released on February 24.  The tour will kick off on June 24 in Hartford, CT and will wrap up Sept. 5 in Auburn, WA. Some of the stops along the way include Tampa, Charlotte, Atlanta, Dallas, Cincinnati, Chicago, Boston and others.  Of course Kid Rock will be playing his hometown of Detroit.  There will six shows in a row in Clarkston at the start of August.

Kid Rock’s newest album, “First Kiss” is his tenth album.  His last album, “Rebel Soul” was released in 2012 and was a mix of Southern rock, soul, blues, gospel and motown music.  His last tour was in 2013 to support that album and was named the Rebel Soul Tour.  Bob Seger, Buckcherry and Hellbound Glory joined him for that tour.  If that wasn’t enough, Kid Rock had his $20 Best Night Ever Tour with ZZ Top, Uncle Kracker and Kool and the Gang.  In addition to all that, he also opened for Bon Jovi during his Australian tour.  He is crazy busy!
