Rage Against the Machine Announces Huge 2020 Tour!

Yaaaassss…..HUGE concert announcement.  For the first time in over nine very long years, Rage Against the Machine will be hitting the road for a North American tour.  The first of 33 shows will kick off March 26 in El Paso, TX and will conclude Aug. 11 after back to back shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City.  They will visit major markets like Oakland, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Washington D.C. in the U.S. and Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Hamilton and Toronto in Canada.  Special guests on tour will be Run the Jewels.  Fans can also check them out as a headlining act at Coachella, Boston Calling and Firefly Music Festivals.

Rage Against the Machine last official performance was in 2011 at their own L.A. Rising Festival which also featured Muse, Rise Against, Lauryn Hill, Immortal Technique and El Gran Silencio.  Their last album, “Renegades” was dropped in 2000 and has since been certified Platinum by the RIAA.  In 2017, after their first year of eligibility, they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.  In 2016, Prophets of Rage was formed with members Tim Commerford, Tom Morello and Brad Wilk, alongside Public Enemy’s DJ Lord and Chuck D and Cypress Hill’s B-Real.  Zack de la Rocha was radio silent for many years.
