Lynyrd Skynyrd Announces Street Survivors Farewell Tour

Freeeeeeeee bird!!!! For one last hurrah, Lynyrd Skynyrd have announced that they will be heading out on tour one last time. The Southern Rock band will be on the road for an extensive farewell tour dubbed the ‘Street Survivors Farewell Tour.’ It will kick off for the first of 30 shows on May 4th in West Palm Beach, FL and wrapping up Sept. 1 in Atlanta, GA.  They will also head to Tampa, Dallas, Toronto and Birmingham of course.  Special guests Kid Rock, Bad Company, Marshall Tucker Band, .38 Special, Hank Williams Jr., Charlie Daniels Band, Blackfoot and Blackberry Smoke will join on select dates.

Lyndyrd Skynyrd last toured in 2016 with Peter Frampton and it was a huge success.   Their last album, ‘Last of a Dyin’ Breed’ was released in 2012 and reached the #14 spot on the Billboard 200.  They got their start all the way back in 1964 and have sold more than 28 million albums in the U.S.  They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.  Of course their most popular songs include ‘Sweet Home Alabama,’ ‘Free Bird’ and ‘Gimme Three Steps.’
