Tame Impala Announces 2020 North American Tour Dates

Australian psychedelic music project led by multi-talented Kevin Parker, Tame Impala, will hit the road in 2020 for a lengthy North American tour to support his next album, “The Slow Rush.”  The first of 23 shows will kick off May 29, 2020 in Chicago, IL and will conclude Aug. 7 in Quincy, WA.  He will head other U.S. cities like Detroit, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas and Houston and Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver in Canada.  Special guests on tour will be Perfume Genius.  Before the tour gets underway, fans can check him out in San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco with help from Clairo this spring.

Tame Impala will drop their latest album, “The Slow Rush” on Valentine’s Day 2020 via Modular Recordings.  This will be his fourth studio album.  His previous album, “Currents” was released in 2015 and climbed to a career-best #4 on the Billboard 200 and has since been certified Gold by the RIAA.  In 2016, he supported the album with a giant Europe and North American tour with help from M83, Dungen, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Mac DeMarco and Benjamin Booker.  Parker has touring support from Jay Watston, Dominic SImper, Julien Barbagallo and Cam Avery.
