Motley Crue announce ‘The Stadium Tour’ with Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett

After a hit Netflix movie based on their Book, “The Dirt,” 80’s glam/metal/rock group Mötley Crüe is ready to cash in on that exposure with an enormous 2020 tour with fellow 80’s rock bands Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.  Dubbed The Stadium Tour, the first show will kick off on July 7, 2020 in Miami, FL and will conclude, Sept. 5 in Inglewood, CA.  They will also stops in Arlington, San Francisco, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Detroit, Washington D.C., Chicago, Seattle, Washington and more.  In 2014, Mötley Crüe wrapped up their “The Final Tour” which was supposed to be their last tour ever, but ehhhh…apparently not.  They ripped up their formal Cessation of Touring Agreement after all four original members Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and Mick Mars agreed to hit the road one last time (maybe?).

Mötley Crüe has toured previously with Poison in 2011 with special guests New York Dolls.  They got their start back in 1981 and the band has since sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and been nominated for 3 Grammy Awards.  If you’re super lucky like me, you even have a set of Hair Band Collector’s edition Trading Cards in your basement.  Jealous? They released their latest album, ” Saints of Los Angeles” in 2008  which climbed to #4 on the Billboard 200.
