Andrew McMahon Announces 2018 The Pen and The Piano Tour

I have been a huge Andrew McMahon fan ever since his early days with Drive Thru Records and Something Corporate.  I’ve seen him perform a number of times and it’s always been a great show.  So, I’m pumped to let you know that he has announced a new 2018 tour to support his latest album, ‘Zombies on Broadway.’  The tour is dubbed ‘The Pen and The Piano Tour’ and will kick off April 10 in Kansas City, MO and will wrap up May 24 in Englewood, Co.  He will also travel to Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., NYC, Atlanta, Dallas and Los Angeles.  Special guests Allen Stone, Zac Clark and Bob Oxblood will join him on tour.  McMahon’s 2017 tour, ‘Zombies in America Tour’ included special guests Atlas Genius, Night Riots, Arizona and The Greeting Committee, and it was EXCELLENT.  Random tidbit, his song ‘Cecelia and the Satellite’ is actually a song about his daughter.  How sweet is that?

Andrew McMahon released his second solo studio album ‘Zombies on Broadway’ in Feb. of 2017 via Vanguard Records.  His debut solo album, ‘Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness’ peaked at the #21 spot on the Billboard 200  Prior to going solo, McMahon was the main songwriter for Jack’s Mannequin and the heart and soul behind Something Corporate (go listen to Konstantine now!).
