The Rolling Stones Announce 2019 No Filter US tour

They might be pushing 80, but that isn’t slowing The Rolling Stones down AT ALL.  For real, with all of their drinking, smoking and drug taking, they have to be pickled at this point.  Regardless, they are pushing on and are planning their next round of stadium tours in 2019.  The U.S. leg of the tour is a continuation of the band’s ‘No Filter Tour’ which intitally kicked off in 2017 across Europe. Keith Richards, Mick Jagger and the rest of the crew will perform 13 shows in the U.S., kicking off April 20 in Miami, FL and wrapping up in Chicago, IL on June 21.

The Stones are planning on putting out new music eventually. “We have some stuff down, which is very interesting. “I’m going to sound like Trump — ‘It will happen; don’t worry about it’ — but it’s in the early stages,” guitarist Keith Richards told The Wall Street Journal early in 2018. “We have some stuff down, which is very interesting. It’s more difficult for us to write together the further apart we are, but it also has its benefits in that we come back to it from a different angle.”

Rolling Stones last album was a cover album of blues music entitled, Blue & Lonesome, back in 2016. Their last original recordings, “Doom and Gloom” and “One More Shot”, were on their 2012 greatest hits album GRRR!.
