Tool Headed Out on Road in 2016
Hot rock news! Tool is heading back to the road and releasing new music! For the first time since 2006, Tool will be releasing new material and will be hitting the stage in 2016. Primus and 3 Teeth will open for Tool and the tour will kick off on Jan. 9 in San Diego, CA and will wrap up on Jan. 26 in Charlotte, NC. This is a fairly short tour, so fans can also check them out in San Antonio, Grand Prairie, Tulsa, Southaven, Nashville and Duluth. Their last tour was in 2014 across the West Coast and Mexico.
Tool’s newest album, has been delayed due to an ongoing lawsuit involving their insurance company suing them over “technicalities” in a copyright case and a subsequent series of countersuits. However, Maynard James Keenan recently announced that the lawsuit has been settled and they will be recording their fifth album ASAP. Their last album, “10,000 Days” reached the #1 spot across the globe and was certified Platinum
