Mumford and Sons Announce An Arrow Through the Heartland Tour
Folksy rockers, Mumford & Sons have been a favorite on mine for years. Now, the band has announced a new tour in support of their latest amazing album, “Wilder Mind.” Their new U.S. tour is dubbed the “An Arrow Through The Heartland” tour and will kick off next April the 3rd in Dallas, TX and will wrap up June 23 in Indianapolis, IN. Joining them on tour will be singer and guitarist Blake Mills. After this leg of the journey, Mumford and Sons will head across the pond to perform throughout Europe, then they’ll head back state side in June. Expect more dates to be added to the second U.S. leg soon.
The band’s newest album, “Wilder Mind” was released on May 4 is already critically acclaimed. It reached the top of the Billboard 200 in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Holland, Norway, Ireland and the UK. Mumford and Sons and similar success with 2012’s”Babel” and 2009’s debut album, “Sigh No More.” The group only formed back in 2007. Imagine what you could accomplish in 8 years, eh?
