Weezer and the Pixies Announce 2018 ‘ Pacific Daydream’ Tour
I have seen Weezer live so many times and they are so, so much fun. Now Weezer has just announced a huge new tour. They will be co-headlining with the Pixies and will kick off for the first of 29 shows on June 23 in Tampa, FL and will wrap up Aug. 12 in Phoenix, AZ. They will also travel to Dallas, Cincinnati, Toronto, Atlanta, Nashville and Chula Vista. The Wombats will be joining them as special guests on select dates. In early 2017, Weezer had a short Canadian tour with The Trews and The Flatliners.
Weezer plans to release a new album sometimes in 2018 and is unofficially titled ‘The Black Album’ which will be their twelfth studio album. Their eleventh album, ‘Pacific Daydream’ was released just last week on Oct. 27 and they released ‘The White Album’ in 2016 and peaked at the #4 spot on the Billboard 200. That same year, Weezer went on a giant summer North American tour with Panic! At the Disco.
