Alabama Celebrates 50 Years with a 2019 Tour

Country music legends Alabama will be celebrating their 50th anniversary with a 2019 tour.  The tour will kick off Jan. 11 in Indianapolis, IN and will wrap up June 26 in Minneapolis, MN. The Country Music Hall of Famers and award winning band will also stop in Atlantic City, Albany, New Orleans, Pittsburgh, Wilkes Barre and a few more.  Special guests Charlie Daniels Band will join on select dates.  In 2018, Alabama went on their ‘The Hits Tour’ also with Charlie Daniels Band, Marshall Tucker Band and Montgomery Gentry.

Alabama released their last album, ‘Southern Drawl’ over 3 years ago in Sept. of 2015 via BMG Rights Management. It peaked at the #14 spot on the Billboard 200.  Their previous studio album was released all the way back in 2001,’When It All Goes South.’  In 2017, Alabama released their third installment of their ‘American Christmas’ album series.  Alabama was inducted into the County Music Hall of Fame in 2005.  They are the most successful band in country music history, having 30 number one country records on Billboard and have sold more than 75 million albums.
