Judas Priest Announce 2018 ‘Firepower’ Tour

One of the greatest metal bands of all time, Judas Priest, just announced a huge new 2018 tour across North America.  This tour is in support of their newest album, ‘Firepower’ and will kick off for the first of 25 shows on March 13 in Wilkes-Barre, PA and will wrap up May 1 in San Antonio, TX. They will also travel to Washington D.C., Detroit, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Dallas.  They will also head north to Ottawa, London, Oshawa and Rama in Canada.  Special guests Saxon and Black Star Riders will join Judas Priest on tour.  Their last tour was 2014’s ‘The Redeemer of Souls Tour’ which included special guests Steel Panther.

Judas Priest plans to release their newest album, ‘Firepower’ in early 2018.  Not surprising it won’t be released this year.  ‘Firepower’ will be released in 2018 and not 2017 as it will be the band’s 18th studio album.  They were also nominated for the 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with 20 others including Radiohead, The Moody Blues and The Zombies.  In 2010, Judas Priest won a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance for their song “Dissident Aggressor” from 1977’s “Sin After Sin.”
