Sam Smith Plans 2018 ‘The Thrill of It All’ Tour

I’m pretty sure that this will be the year of Sam Smith.  To make this point, the Grammy award winning singer announced a huge 2018 tour in support of his newest album, ‘The Thrill of It All.’  This is a 37 date tour and will kick off June 18 in Toronto and will wrap up Sept. 13 in Calgary, AB.  He will also travel to Detroit, NYC, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Miami, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles and Seattle.   The other Canadian stops he will make will include Montreal, Vancouver and Edmonton.  His last tour, ‘In the Lonely Hour Tour’ took place in 2015 and included 81 shows throughout Europe, North and South America and Asia.  Prior to the tour, fans can check out Sam at Austin City Limits with The Killers, Gorillaz & Run The Jewels- Sunday and Jingle Ball with Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and The Chainsmokers.

Sam Smith plans to release his newest album, ‘The Thrill of It All’ on Nov. 3, 2017 via Capitol Records.  This album follows up his debut album, ‘In the Lonely Hour’ which peaked at the #2 spot on the Billboard 200 and #1 in his home country UK.  His 2015 smash hit, ‘Writing’s on the Wall’ won Best Original Song at both the Golden Globe Awards and the Academy Awards. He also won Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards and three Billboard Music Awards.
