Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness Announces 2019 Upside Down Flowers Tour

I have been a HUGE fan of Andrew McMahon since the very early 00’s.  His latest band, Andrew McMahon In the Wilderness is one of his best projects since Something Corporate, in my humble opinion.  They just announced a lengthy 2019 U.S. Tour to support their latest album, ‘Upside Down Flowers.’  The first of 36 shows will kick off Jan. 23 in Phoenix, AZ and will wrap up March 24 in San Diego, CA.  They will also make stops in Dallas, Philadelphia, NYC, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, L.A.. and Las Vegas. Special guests on the tour will be flor and Grizfolk.  Their last tour was earlier this year for their ‘The Pen and the Piano Tour’ with Allen Stone, Zac Clark and Bob Oxblood.

Andrew McMahon In the Wilderness will be releasing their newest album, ‘Upside Down Flowers’ on Nov. 16, 2018.  It will be the band’s third studio album.  Their previous albums ‘Zombies on Broadway’ and ‘Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness’ were released in 2017 and 2014 respectively.   Their 2017 tour ‘Zombies in America Tour’ was supported by Atlas Genius, Night Riots, Arizona and The Greeting Committee and it was a fantastic show.  I was there.  Andrew came out in a giant inflatable duck and everything.  Andrew’s other major previous band’s included Jack’s Mannequin and Something Corporate.
