Robert Plant Announces 2018 Solo ‘Carry Fire’ Tour

Massive classic rock news!!   The LEGENDARY former front man of Led Zepplin, Robert Plant, just announced a solo tour across North America in 2018.  This tour will be in support oh his newest album, ‘Carry Fire’ and will kick off for the first of 12 shows on Feb. 9 in Raleigh, NV and will wrap up March 2 in Los Angeles CA.  Plant will also travel to Charlotte, Norfolk, New York City, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, Phoenix and Oakland.  The Sensational Space Shifters will join him on tour as the backup band.

Robert Plant plans to release his newest album, ‘Carry Fire’ on Oct. 13, 2017 via Nonesuch Records.  It will be his eleventh (“this one goes to eleven.” Lol)  studio album.  His previous album, ‘Lullaby and…The Ceaseless Roar’ which climbed to the #10 spot on the Billboard 200. and was the first time Sensation Space Shifters backed him up.  His 2010 album, ‘Band of Joy’ peaked at the #5 spot on the chart.  Obviously, Plant is most recognized for his time with Led Zepplin, from 1968-80, but he’s had a longer solo career spanning 40 years.
