Kane Brown Perform Drive In Concert Across North American 9-26

Country MusicFans of modern country music are in for a treat this weekend when Kane Brown will perform a virtual show at more than 200 drive-ins and out outdoor theaters across North America.  The country star who is known for his hits like “Lose It” and “Homesick” will air his pre-recorded performance that has been edited to include an interview with Brown and other fun features. Up to six people are allowed in each vehicle.

The show is produced by Encore Live who id similar virtual performances with Metallica, Garth Brooks and Blake Shelton this summer.  Music will never die!

Participating theaters will include plenty of safeguards to promote social distancing and reduce spreading COVID-19, according to Encore Live. Staff will wear protective gear, restroom occupancy will be limited, vehicles will be kept at least 6 feet apart and only contactless payments will be accepted.

A preview of what is to be expected: USA TODAY’s Patrick Ryan attended a screening of the Metallica concert in August, called it “surreal” and “easygoing and almost shockingly subdued.”

“Parking was staggered out so there was one parking space between you and your neighbor, and you could listen to the show through your FM radio or over the drive-in’s faint, faraway speakers,” he wrote. “Most people tailgated outside their vehicles, many with fold-up chairs and red Solo cups, while others opted to stand in empty parking spaces and nod along to the music.”
