Elton John Reschedules “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour” in North America for 2022

Much like everyone else, Sir Elton John was forced to postpone is spring leg of his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour” because of COVID-19.  Thankfully, he just announced the rescheduled tour dates in 2021 and 2022.  The European and UK leg of the tour will kick off Sept. 1, 2021, and includes stops in Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, Stockholm, London and Dublin.  The North American leg of the tour will start Jan.19, 2022 and will include shows in New Orleans, Dallas, Chicago, Toronto, NYC, St. Paul, Louisville, Miami and more.

Sir Elton John said on social media, “I’ve been enjoying my time at home with the family while the world navigates its way through the COVID pandemic. But, I really miss being on the road and performing for my beloved fans in my Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour. While the scientists are making great progress, we are making big plans for a return to touring that will allow us to ensure the health and safety of everyone.”

Fans can also look forward to an interview by Sean Lennon on a BBC documentary tribute to his father, John Lennon. Elton will also soon release a giant box set featuring loads of rarities and B-sides.
