Billy Gibbons to Head Out on Solo Tour without ZZ Top
ZZ Top is a pretty iconic band. The bearded frontmen have their have quite the cult following. Now, Billy Gibbons is heading out his own for his first ever solo tour. The tour is in support of his first solo record, “Perfectamundo” and will kick off Nov. 10 in Atlanta, GA and will wrap up Dec. 13 in Seattle, WA. He will hit most of the major American cities such as NYC, Washington D.C., L.A., Detroit, Chicago and Houston. After this tour, Gibbons will take his show south to Cuba for the Havana Jazz Festival.
Gibbon’s new album, “Perfectamundo” will be released on Nov. 6. Billy Gibbons and the BFG’s is made up of Martin G.G. Guigui, Mike Flanigin and Alex “Guitarzza” Garza, SoZo and Melanie DiLorenzo. Fun fact, Gibbons is ranked the #32nd best Guitarist of All Time according to Rolling Stone Magazine.
